Yes, it is still snowy, but a trip to New Orleans is going to take too long. How about a little party and revelry right here in our own back yard?

Here are a few things we have come across:

Bourbon Street Blowout, starting at Ned Devine’s, Faneuil Hall: Saturday March 5 from 2-7 (registration 1:30-2). Dress: New Orleans Spicy . From the site:

Firehouse 20th Anniversary Mardi Gras event: Saturday March 5 Market Square, Newburyport, MA. Party at 6:30; performance at 8. From their site:
