The other day we decided to revisit Mirror Lake.
This was a frequent haunt when the kids were younger but for some reason we had not gone in a couple of years. We ended up having a lot of fun, and I was reminded why we used to go there nearly every summer day.
We would like to note that the site boasts that the beach has a full-serve concession stand – this was not in evidence when we were there, and had we known that we would have ported in some sandwiches. It is a little walk to get from parking to the beach – maybe 1/8 of a mile downhill on the way in (uphill with tired children on the way out).
